MOST COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS CONCERNING NATURCOLORTM
Is NATURCOLORTM a permanent haircolor?
Yes. To maintain the quality of the color we recommend the use of our shampoos and conditioner. Avoid shampoos with harsh surfactants and oil
bases or any that contain animal proteins or keratinized hair protein. After your initial application, you will only need to do periodic touch-ups
of color on new "outgrowth"at the roots.
Can NATURCOLORTM be applied over Henna?
Not if the Henna has been on less than 5 weeks. After 5 weeks we recommend removing the Henna with an application of fresh yogurt with lactobacillus. Apply the yogurt to your dry hair, cover with a shower cap and leave on for an hour. Then shampoo and apply color to clean, dry hair.
Can you lighten your hair with NATURCOLORTM?
No, the blonde shades in our color chart are designed to deposit color, not take a darker shade to a lighter shade. However, you can achieve
beautiful "low-lights" (a subtle lighter tone) by choosing a color one shade lighter than your natural color.
Can you mix custom shades with NATURCOLORTM?
Yes. All of the colors are compatible for blending beautiful custom shades. We do not recommend mixing the Ash (C) with the Gold (D) series as
these colors cancel each other out. Generally, one of the "N" series of colors is chosen. Then another color tone is chosen from the M,R,C, or
D series. For example, a medium brown is chosen (6N). 7R is chosen to add a red tone to the brown. The colors can be mixed 50/50, or less of
the red tone as desired. The new blended color is then mixed with the NATURFIX Gel Developer in equal parts for application to the hair.
Our customer care line is available to help you with custom color questions.
Will leaving NATURCOLORTM on longer make a difference?
No. Once the color has been mixed with the developer, there is an activation time of approximately 55 minutes. The product will then stop
working automatically.
Is it safe to use NATURCOLORTM if I am pregnant?
We at NATURCOLOR
TM have had numerous employees use our products during their pregnancies with no adverse side effects. Our best advise is to
show your doctor the ingredient list located on the side of the box. Your doctor is the only one who is familiar with your specific health
issues. You do also have the option of not coloring your root area. This would ensure that product does not come into contact with your scalp.
